2027 JUNIOR STATE CUP

Rockhampton – 8 to 10 July 2027

 

The 2027 Queensland Touch Football Junior State Cup will be held in Rockhampton, thanks to the support of Rockhampton Regional Council.

 

This 3-day action packed Touch Football competition brings and estimated 4,000 participants from over 260+ affiliate teams from across Queensland extending as far north as Cairns and as far south as South Tweed.

2027 Campaign Information

Coaching Staff

Caboolture Touch Association will soon be calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for Coaching Staff to fill roles for our 2027 JSC representative campaign.

 

Coaching Staff  play a vital role in the success and development of Associations teams. A quality Coaching Staff not only develop players’ technical skills and understanding of the game, but also help build confidence, teamwork, discipline, leadership and a positive sporting culture. At CTA, a strong coaching  team creates an environment where participants feel valued, supported and motivated to improve, while also ensuring that training and competition are safe, enjoyable and inclusive. At CTA, our Coaching Staff consists of three (3) roles:

 

Lead Coach – Responsible for the overall coaching and development of the team. The Lead Coach plans and delivers training sessions, develops game strategies, manages player development and provides leadership and direction to the teams Coaching Staff.

 

Assistant Coach – Responsible for supporting the Lead Coach in delivering training and developing players. The Assistant Coach assists with drills, skills development, game-day preparation and player support, while stepping in to lead activities when required.

 

Team Manager – Responsible for the administration and organisation of the team. The Team Manager acts as the main point of contact for players and families, coordinates communication, manages team information and ensures the team is prepared for training, games and other club activities.
