Caboolture Touch Association (CTA) is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and child-focused environment for all children and young people participating in our sport. CTA operates under the guidance, resources and education provided by Queensland Touch Football (QTF) and has adopted the QTF Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy, together with the additional safeguarding principles and requirements defined in the National Integrity Framework outlined below.
CTA adopts the definitions, standards and actions contained within the Prohibited Conduct provisions of the National Integrity Framework (NIF). CTA maintains a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse, harm, neglect, exploitation and any conduct that may place a child or young person at risk.
CTA prohibits victimisation, intimidation or retaliation against any person who, in good faith, raises, reports or participates in the investigation of a child safety concern.
To support continuous improvement and compliance with safeguarding obligations, CTA undertakes regular child safety KPI monitoring, compliance audits and an annual review of its child safety and wellbeing practices, policies and procedures. The safety and wellbeing of children and young people remains a paramount consideration in all CTA activities and decision-making.
